As the field of dentistry continues to evolve over time, it is crucial that oral and maxillofacial surgeons continuously elevate their techniques and methods to ensure successful outcomes. The oral and maxillofacial surgery field will continue to be relied upon for significant ridge augmentation cases with the goal of providing dental implant rehabilitation for patients with complex ridge defects. The purpose of this presentation is to update the practitioner on ridge augmentation techniques as well as specific treatment planning, surgical steps and skills required to repeatedly produce successful outcomes for implant patients.
