Dr. Joseph C. Camarata, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and plastic surgeon. He received his D.M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, where completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, and received his M.D., respectively. He then finished a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Texas Heath Science Center San Antonio. He has been a clinical adjucnct professor for the University of Nebraska Medical Center, residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery in the past, and currently participates as a faculty instructor for Operation Re-dentulate Central America O.R.C.A.A. Global, and the Smile Back Foundation. He now resides in Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of the Kansas City metro area, and practices oral and maxillofacial surgery and plastic surgery. His career has been dedicated to treating complicated microvascular reconstructive problems and injuries of the body and head and neck, providing corrective jaw surgery, and full arch dental implant surgery, particularly in complex cases requiring remote anchorage techniques. Dr. Camarata owns a medical spa and partners with Dr. Brandon James, a nationally renowned prosthodontist, in their dental implant center, NuLife Implant Specialists.
