Michael Murphy, MD

Lexington, Kentucky

Dr. Murphy is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He completed a general practice residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. He completed oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He was in private practice for 18 years in Kentucky. He is currently an attending oral and maxillofacial surgeon at the Veterans Affairs medical center in Lexington, Ky. For the past 11 years he has been a volunteer faculty member in the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and
supervises residents who rotate through the VA during their training.
